There are clouds outside,
They are heavy with rain,
And I sit on the roof’s edge,
Playing the waiting game.

There is a lit cigarette between my fingers,
A smile on my face,
I am a numb human being,
So I love the touch of the ice rain.

What would I do if it rains today?
Maybe I’ll be outside catching a cold.
